Meet Eat and Drink at Henley Royal Regatta Chinawhite Party, Roger Sanchez on the decks!
Henley Regatta takes place at the town of Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, England, about seven miles northeast of Reading. As soon as you arrive in Henley there is a noticeable difference to London, the pace of life is slower and the people are very polite and give you the time of day. It has a very English feel and the surrounding countryside is stunning.

We went to the Crooked Billet Friday night for supper, a lovely pub with a wonderful atmosphere, the food was very fresh and tasty but I felt slightly lacking in flavour. The staff make you feel very welcome and is definitely worth a visit if you are in Henley. On Saturday we made our way to the boat race, the weather was a bit cloudy to start, with sporadic rain but as the day wore on the clouds cleared and the sun and blue sky were there to stay. We had tickets for the Chinawhite enclosure which was at Temple Island. The crowd was mixed including a few of the Made In Chelsea gang. The music was Deep House with Roger Sanchez hitting the decks later in the evening. We left at around 11.30 and walked along the river back to the town centre which gave us a chance to see the other enclosures along the bank. I am tempted to return to Henley outside regatta and festival time as I feel there are a lot of hidden gems I have yet to explore.

We stayed at Badgemore Park Golf Club which is in a lovely location just outside Henley Town centre. Rooms are not cheap during the regatta but I highly recommend a weekend in Henley and Badgemore.
